Rules & Waver
- All racers must sign a waiver and release of liability.
- Racers under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver and release of liability form and have a photocopy of a parent or legal guardian’s driver’s license.
- A minimum height of 48” is required for junior karts and 13 years old and 56” tall for adult karts.
- All adult racers must be under 300 lbs and no taller than 7 feet.
- All new riders will receive a mandatory briefing session on indoor kart racing safety and regulations.
- All racers will be provided with a helmet. Helmets must be worn AT ALL TIMES on the track. Racers may bring their own helmet as long as the helmet has a full face with 100% clear visor or goggles. All helmets must be labeled with D.O.T. and/or SNELL 2000 or greater certification stickers.
- Need 2 Speed has a zero-tolerance policy on being under the influence of drugs or alcohol while driving at our facility. You will be held liable for any damage or injury caused to others or the facility.
- Kart racing poses special risks to those with neck or back problems and heart conditions. Pregnant women and all other individuals who should not be in stressful or physically demanding environments should consult a physician before driving. If you have any doubt, please check with your doctor before racing.
- Please remember that indoor karting is real racing and not an amusement ride. Accidents can happen.
- Long hair must be pulled back into a ponytail.
- All racers must wear closed toe shoes. No flip flops or snow boots.
- Never stop on the track for any reason.
- Need 2 Speed cannot emphasize enough that indoor kart racing is a non-contact sport. We do not tolerate any bumping or blocking of other racers. If you are unable to pass a kart, there is no excuse for contact.
